Privately owned funeral directors, A Hoskins & son, are a family firm, established in Ludlow in 1878. Since that time, the business has been passed from father to son and in 1996, the present owner, Stephen took the reigns.

A Hoskins & Son’s premises in Ludlow are situated at 85 Gravel Hill. It has a comfortable reception and funeral arrangement area. A feature of this area is the tapestry, commissioned by Stephen, and hand embroidered by the ladies of Ludlow. The building also has a private Chapel of Rest where families can spend some time with their loved one.
